Fear in the New Testament
Isaiah 66:1-2 Thus saith Yahuweh, The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool: where is the house that ye build unto Me? And where is the place of My rest? 2 For all those things hath Mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith Yahuweh: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My word.
II Corinthians 6:1-7:1 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
We must consider the promises of God to us in our lives. We must remain in the fear of Yahuweh, knowing He is a judge of righteousness. Our, righteousness is imputed to us by the blood of His Messiah, the Christ, we must not count that blood for nothing, but with reverence and godly fear.
